About Celebrity Ventures

Celebrity Ventures Inc., based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, formed in 2000 to launch a new
kind of food-first focused, sports-theme restaurant that puts a whole new “spin” on
the sports-restaurant experience by teaming Hall of Fame athletes with high-exposure
locations and high-quality foodservice.

Hospitality industry veterans Howard Shiller and Bob McCarthy, both formerly of the
Walt Disney Co. in Orlando, Fla., along with Bob Burness, whose resume includes
Price-Waterhouse as a C.P.A., Dunkin’ Donuts, and Auntie Anne’s Soft Pretzels,
partnered to create this novel concept, offering a casually stylish presentation that
delivers a quality food, beverage and entertainment experience for all members of the
community, and especially for those who are devoted fans.

To date, CVI has launched successful locations such as:

• Eddie George’s Sports Grille, Nashville, TN.
• Jeff Conine’s Clubhouse Grille, Hollywood, FL.
• Eddie George’s Grille 27, Columbus, OH.
• Jerome Bettis Grille 36, Pittsburgh, PA.

With the following restaurants scheduled to open in 2010:
• Emmitt Smith Grille 22, Dallas TX
• Doug Flutie Grille 22, Boston, MA

CVI has developed a signature look for its establishments that is “gender-neutral”
décor that appeals to women as well as men, but also classic enough to reflect the
timelessness of the namesake athletes and their team affiliations at both the college
and professional levels.
